Livello: racconti scritti per ragazzi ma da leggere da adulti.
Leggibilità: buona, un po’ difficile all’inizio.
Piacevolezza: buona.
Voto: 7/10.
Consiglio: senz’altro da leggere, in un solitario pomeriggio di sole.

Sempre più mi stupisce Chioggia.
Piergiorgio mi regalò questo libro del quale lessi le prime pagine e che poi abbandonai per un po’: lo avrei letto più avanti.
Quelle poche pagine mi parvero pesanti, ma non potevo non leggere un libro di un amico.
Ancora, quando lo ripresi in mano, le pagine iniziali le trovai difficili. Eppure era scritto bene, stile Hemingway. Ma andando avanti capii: non è un libro per ragazzi come mi era stato presentato, ma un libro che parla di profonde nostalgie di vita, di parti, di morte e di rinascita.
Difficile per le risonanze profonde che suscita.
Parla di un modo di stare al mondo che ora non c’è più, eppure è presente, cercato nelle nostre anime.
Di un mondo dove ognuno ha il suo giusto posto e di come lo si trova, glielo si riconosce. Parla di come le persone si accompagnano nella vita e nella morte.
Echi nostalgici dunque, con momenti veramente commoventi e profondi, ed altri di vortice onirico. Racchiude nascoste filosofie di vita.
Non è un libro la cui lettura alla prima risulta così scorrevole, ma vale la pena insistere, è un libro su cui riflettere, che insegna cose giuste e vagliate dalla storia, ad un mondo morto e vecchio come il nostro.
Vi lascerà un retrogusto nostalgico e una lieve, ma importante, modifica del vostro sguardo sul mondo.

Piergiorgio Bighin, psicologo-psicoterapeuta chioggiotto è alla sua seconda navigazione lagunare. Il suo primo libro “Trucioli di mare” conteneva un fortunato racconto, “Il maestro d’ascia”, ripreso in alcune antologie per le medie e in alcune riviste di nautica e quaderni sul lavoro. “Piero delle vele” raccoglie i precedenti racconti e vi aggiunge la storia di Piero e una leggenda popolare famosa in laguna “La valle dei sette morti”.

Level: stories written for children but to be read by adults.
Readability: good, a little difficult at first.
Pleasantness: good.
Rating: 7/10.
Recommendation: definitely worth reading on a lonely sunny afternoon

Chioggia amazes me more and more.
Piergiorgio gave me this book of which.
I read the first pages and then abandoned it for a while: I would read it later.
Those few pages seemed heavy to me, but I couldn’t help but read a friend’s book.
Again, when I picked it up again, I found the initial pages difficult. Yet it was well written, Hemingway style. But as I progressed I understood: it is not a children’s book as it was presented to me, but a book that speaks of profound nostalgia for life, childbirth, death and rebirth.
Difficult due to the profound resonances it arouses.
It speaks of a way of being in the world that no longer exists, yet is present, sought in our souls.
Of a world where everyone has their rightful place and how they find it, they recognize it. It’s about how people accompany each other in life and death.
Nostalgic echoes therefore, with truly moving and profound moments, and others of a dreamlike vortex. It contains hidden philosophies of life.
It is not a book whose first reading is so smooth, but it is worth insisting on, it is a book to reflect on, which teaches the right things, examined by history, to a dead and old world like ours.
It will leave you with a nostalgic aftertaste and a slight, but important, change in your outlook on the world.

Piergiorgio Bighin, a psychologist-psychotherapist from Chioggia, is on his second lagoon navigation. His first book “Trucioli di mare” contained a successful story, “The shipwright”, featured in some anthologies for middle school and in some nautical magazines and work notebooks. “Piero delle vele” collects the previous stories and adds Piero’s story and a popular legend famous in the lagoon “The valley of the seven dead”.
